Valley Driving School is one of the most reputable driver training institutions in British Columbia. They provide a wide range of instruction in various skills and credentials for cars, trucks, motorcycles and more. While their old website had a deep catalogue of content that performed well in organic marketing, the site was built on a legacy platform that was difficult to work with. The quality of the design did not align with the quality of their instruction.
The Solution
Working off the detailed and thorough SEO auditing and content preparation work of Search Accelerated, Viewpoint Digital designed and developed a custom block-based WordPress website. A new look provided a more visual experience for visitors and better tools for content editing. A Course Calendar displays all the details of Valley Driving School’s upcoming courses with cross-linking to related sessions and filters for type and location.
Student Resource Accounts
Students enrolled in a course can register for an account to access classroom resources related to their course. Site administrators can approve accounts, manage access and publish new resources.
Student Resource Area
Student Resources are organized by course and password protected. Interactive formats like step-by-step guides allow students to review processes by following the steps, seeing visuals and listening to audio cues.
Blog and Content Migration
As an educational organization, Valley Driving School’s blog is an important way of sharing their knowledge. All of the page, blog and resource content of their old site was migrated intact to protect their previous SEO work.
